“Unseat Reid and Pelosi” Says Olbermann

Keith Olbermann's Special Comment last night pretty much summed up my feelings on the Democrats idiotic move to continue to fund the war.
We worked our fingers to the bone to get Dems into Congress for one MAJOR thing - to bring our troops home. Immigration, the national debt, the spotted owl all took a back seat to this most pressing issue.
The Dems held all the cards, the President they are facing is the WORST IN HISTORY and wildly unpopular. Plus the Dems had the support of the people - a huge swath of We The People in fact.
So what do they do? Cave.
The capitulated.
They threw the troops under the bus. God knows, the Dems in Congress don't want to be made to feel uncomfortable.
Having blood drawn
yesterday by a nice young woman, we started talking about health insurance...me, none...her, through her husband...employer?....the Army....deployed?....Iraq.
I couldn't help it. The words that came out of my mouth where as much of a reflex as when the doctor checks your knee with the rubber hammer.... "I'm sorry".
I think everyone apologizes these days.
No one else will.

We have leadership that's not leading. Time for change the guard.
I am all for a swap meet right about now.
Unless Webb caves on this issue, he should lead in the Senate, I am unsure about the House.

There was a diary up at kos talking about how the vote on the rules was the real vote and the other votes were less important, but I have no clue when any of those votes are scheduled. I wish I did.
With crossover day being today there is way too much to follow.
