I found this article interesting, but not convincing. The author has a forest-and-the-trees problem when it comes to issues of race and crime.

Nader Barr
Heh. I guess if the Republicans are going to lose like crazy, they might as well do it in style in a full-blown melt-down.
The Right's Ralph.
I love it. I hope all of the McCain haters on the right immediately jump on the Barr bandwagon, now that Hillary won't really be around. Silly Libertarians.
Boy, for someone who says he's not a spoiler
and is not getting in the race to lose, you'd think he'd choose someone beside Ross Perot's campaign guy to ruin*, I mean, run his campaign.
* how do you all put a strike line through a word?

You use the < and the > with the word strike in it
and then the same with the / in front of the word strike to close it.

I know this is somewhat random, but are there any past Peace Corps volunteers on BlueNC? I've been tossing the idea of joining back and forth in my head for some time, and was curious if anyone around these parts had any good advice.

The Peace Corps?
Go for it. I know a couple of people who've done it; they loved it. One of my best friends continues to travel working for various causes -- and she figured out that's what she wanted to do working for the Peace Corps. It's an exciting idea - and scary - and all of that. Just be careful.
