I love my daughter so much it hurts sometimes. Like today, for instance. Just a rough calculation, but I climbed something like 2,400 steps today, carrying various poorly-packed items of dubious value, and furniture whose designers apparently never heard of hand-holds or the L-7 vertebrae.
On the plus side, apparently I'm the greatest daddy in the world. So I've got that going for me.
Okay, laying down doesn't help as much as Id hoped...
Get some of your kid's friends to come over and help her move. Pay them with beer or sodas and pizza - or some other acceptable form of "currency". Save your back!
You'll need to walk to and from your car in years to come to get to and from work to earn more money to pay for your daughter moving back home while she takes an unpaid "internship" before going back to grad school and then doing a "year abroad" somewhere along the line - because as we all know that's what employers are looking for! ;-)

During her final semester last year, she worked from 04:30 to 10:00 am three days a week as a production assistant at a Charlotte TV station. Then went to class all day, and then waited tables at night.
And this time, she actually did have a few guy friends help out (thank God), or I'd probably be in traction right now. ;)
