Is it possible to look at North Carolina politics and see anything other than systemic failure? Maybe we should declare moral bankruptcy and start again.
I don't think this one is dischargeable. It takes much longer to rebuild than it does to do damage to a state's people, environment, institutions, and reputation.
That's why the protests have to continue. Every moment counts. We have to call attention to it before the next election cycle.
There is a palpable shift taking place in the political landscape. And the time is definitely now.
We should be recruiting candidates like mad. More and more and more is better and better and better.
