All NC Representatives To Endorse Obama?

The Wall Street Journal says that's the buzz:

"Meanwhile, North Carolina's seven Democratic House members are poised to endorse Sen. Obama as a group -- just one has so far -- before that state's May 6 primary, several Democrats say."

Buzz...sawed

Read the Dome now...Obama camp has quashed this rumor.

Not quite

The Obama camp said no one's come to them yet regarding endorsements, but that doesn't mean the NC delegation isn't planning to. I'll need to hear it from one of the Reps.

Here's a link to that Dome post

dixie,

Did you hear that from Etheridge recently? I've gotten the same message from Shuler, but that was weeks ago, and you know how things can change...

This morning actually

He was talking this morning about how he didn't want to endorse anyone.

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
