Attend or Host a Kos/NCDP House Party

It’s not too late to host a House Party.
For the third consecutive year, Democrats from across the state will gather at their homes to engage in grassroots organizing.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 25. Help make this a success by turning your house into a home for Democratic ideas and action.
This year Markos Moulitsas will be joining us via conference call. Markos is the founder of Dailykos and co-author of the best-selling book Crashing the Gate: Netroots, Grassroots, and the Rise of People Powered Politics.
He will discuss the role of the Internet and the blogosphere in grassroots democracy.
Each Democrat attending a House Party is asked to bring a $15 donation. This contribution will help the State Party prepare for the critical 2008 elections by building local parties and recruiting an enthusiastic army of trained volunteers ready to go to work.

Person Co. is having one.
No telling how successful it will be, but we have been promoting it for a couple of weeks now and invitations are going out electronically and via snail mail. We have a good place, good food and even live musical entertainment.
If Person Co. can have a house party, ANY county can have one.
