Note to R.Hayes

I received another email from Robin Hayes.
This one is about his concerns that FISA is not adequate and Nancy Pelosi's efforts to "squash this important legislation". He is worried that with todays fast paced communications we are in jeopardy employing the "old" FISA. He says we can't threaten the telecoms with lawsuits and expect them to continue "helping".
And as usual he "will continue to monitor this situation". blah, blah, blah. Bullshit.

Anyway here is my response...
"We the people need our representatives to defend the Constitution.
I am referring to violations by the current administration's ILLEGAL WARRANTLESS WIRETAPS.

Is Impeachment Off the Table?

I sent another letter to the most heinous Rep.R. Hayes.
Not the first, not the last..may not even matter..
He would have to recognize the difference between right and wrong and actually "listen" to the constituents for it to matter.. big duh, huh..

Dear Representative Hayes,

I support House Resolution 799 calling for the impeachment of Vice
President Richard Cheney. I also support the impeachment of George W.
Bush. As your constituent, I am writing to insist that you and the
rest of the House of Representatives carry out your constitutional
duties to defend the Constitution of the United States by supporting
impeachment.

IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!

The media is excluding candidates from the debates. AGAIN!
Lately it's been the media (IE..ABC/Disney, Fox & now NBC/GE) that want to exclude viable candidates. These media outlets and their pundits are trying to select your candidates and manipulate the public perception of exactly who is viable and electable with words and polls.

Take action, please...

Congress gets ANOTHER raise!

Our lame duck Congress has voted themselves ANOTHER raise!

Well, they earned it, didn't they?

Alright, COLA for everyone!
Once a year whether they want it or not..
Too bad it's not based on performance.
Then they would have to be penalized.. I wish..

Telecoms, Mergers and Taxes

I was read there is going to be a CTC Windstream merger.
My reason for concern boils down to the substandard technology used by CTC and if there is hope for a system that say might compare to that of Korea or Japan.
Bill Moyers reported a special "the Net at Risk". He reported that in Korea the internet speed is about 400 times faster than what we use. After viewing Moyers' report I tried to search for more information about local phone and cable companies that received tax breaks in the 1990s for the installation of fiber optic cable. The Moyers report indicated that most if not all the telecoms have defaulted on that agreement.
I wanted to know if this included CTC and Time Warner?

BTW: I'm glad that Talking Points Memo posted this excerpt on Youtube, but since when does TiVo'ing something allow you to brand it with your logo? That's the Wild West...

The Dark Side Chronicles

Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory says he wants to change the culture in Raleigh. I guess that's why he wrote this letter to PAC lobbyists asking for their fundraising help. Change you can believe in? Riiiiiiight. Join the conversation here.
