Millionaires for McCrory

Wealthy Republican donors have been lining up to contribute to an ad campaign for Pat McCrory in amounts far in excess of normal $4,000 contribution limits and it's all perfectly legal. Last week the Republican Governor's Association reported spending on an anti-Perdue ad and reported contributions to the RGA NC 2008 PAC of $616,500 from 23 wealthy donors, an average contribution of $26,804 per person.

NC College Democrats: Liddy Dole Missed the Memo!

We could use your help...

In recent discussions the NCFCD has been pondering the idea of creating a fundraiser. The problem that keeps coming up is that we feel named dinners are becoming somewhat cliché and potentially decisive.

We want the NCFCD to create an event that will benefit not only NC College Democrats, but will energize our membership as well as the grassroots communities that we work in.

So, we are turning to BlueNC for help. What are you ideas?

The candidates, Brownie Newman and Brian Freeborn, spoke to the 30 students and young people in attendance and thanked them for their service. The canvassers knocked on over 850 doors and distributed literature on the candidates while speaking to citizens of Asheville about important issues facing the city.
