President Bill Clinton in University City

Tomorrow, 4/4, President Bill Clinton will be attending a Rally hosted by the College Democrats at UNC Charlotte.

Halton Arena 3pm, doors open at 1pm
9201 University City Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28223

As an alumni and former UNCCCD member I am excited to see a former President visit our campus. Too often Democrats forget about our City and our University, Clinton's visit is the first for someone with the stature of a former President.

Publicly Financed Campaigns Exist Already

Last night, checking my mail like a patient being psychoanalyzed, my thoughts were random, but external. Carter, a Democrat who has a deep-rooted belief in excellence in public education, fiscal responsibility, a strong middle class, allowing American farmers to compete, and providing an end of our involvement in the Iraq conflict, understands the challenge of running against a well funded Washington machine as Foxx has. His campaign is one driven by citizens and not republican think tanks, PACs, and the Bush Administration...

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
