BlueNC WoW

Welcome to BlueNC WoW. Today we'll try something a bit different. Many of our contributors have day jobs that don't allow them to always visit here during the work day. Today we'll post our contributions around lunchtime and during the evening. This will give the writers time to actually respond to comments on their posts without having to wait until they arrive home from work.

On a brighter note (because that just sends my blood boiling) - Register at One Billion Bulbs in the DKos group. How many bulbs have you changed?

of the group, but my mom and i havent bought standard bulbs in a few years. I make sure that we always use fluorescents when the old ones burn out.

So, SD, feel free to add 5 or 10 to your count for me.

except for the ones with dimmers. I will have to count them, but it's a lot. It seems like a lot any way considering the money I spent.

are now officially saving more annually than we've spent on the bulbs. The great news is we've put them in all the overhead fixtures that will hold the bulbs (ceiling fans, etc.) so the family that buys this home will get the benefit of the savings.
