Saturday morning (Feb. 9th) the Harold Ellen Harnett County Democratic Men's Club hosted their annual Groundhog breakfast. David Price who now represents a portion of Harnett County was the keynote speaker and Bob Etheridge was master of ceremonies. Each spoke about the future of the Democratic Party and the dangers of the GOP in Raleigh and Washington.

Well alright then. I seem to have successfully gotten the first on on so here are Congressman Price's comments!
I'm a moderate Democrat.
Thanks for posting these
Both of these gentlemen have provided exceptional service to North Carolina for longer than many of our readers have been alive. I appreciate your taking the time to put these up for folks to see.
In many parts of the state, North Carolina Democrats are hanging on for dear life against the Tarheel Taliban in Raleigh. We don't have the benefit of a billionaire sugar daddy like Art Pope who will buy us any election we want.
In the long run, of course, the Taliban will lose. People are already seeing what a bunch of assholes and bigots they are, and slowly but surely folks will come around. I have to believe that because I am the father of a young Christian woman. The idea that her goodness in life would be contaminated by the stench of Art Pope and DAG McCrory is unthinkable to me.
I was especially glad to see Bob E.
calling for some clear and plain talk. That's been the motto of BlueNC for more than seven years. Call a spade a spade ... and call a liar a liar.
We're talking about you Phil Berger, you lyin' slime ball.
Price and Etheridge
Both of these men have served the citizens of NC well and we appreciate your public service and for understanding what it means to be a public servant.
