Calling on all Patriots, time to Boycott Rupert Murdoch and FOX News
Look at the Iraq war. Now that we know that this has been the worst foreign policy blunder of our generation, let's look at who was promoting it. Of 175 newspapers that Rupert Murdoch owns, all 175 editorialized in favor of the Iraq war in 2003. If you are a democrat, you know why you don't like FOX, but if you are a republican, consider how low the republican name has been brought by this war, and by the people who promoted it.
This much ownership and influence is unhealthy for our democracy and must be refuted by all true patriots.
John Edwards on Murdoch in the current Businessweek.(thanks cosbo)

My point all along was that having Rupert Murdoch [run] every newspaper in the country or having a small group of people control America's media outlets is not healthy. It's not good for democracy, and it's not good for divergent and dissenting voices to be heard. I absolutely believe that consolidation of the media is not healthy for America, and I think....the next President of the United States has a responsibility to try to maintain a divergent group of voices in the media.
Kudos to Edwards for this statement and to Barack Obama for Freezing out FOX.
Join the boycott here today.

i have to respectfully disagree...
...because to watch fox is to know the enemy.
to put it another way, it's hard to clean a cesspool and not get something icky on your shoes.
besides, the advertisements can be as enlightening as the "news".
