Tuesday Twitter roundup

You know, if BergerMoore had shown half the energy they're showing now during their recent "session" they might have actually accomplished some things for the state. But of course you can't hold fundraisers while in session, so...

I'm sure the irony is lost on him...

There are actually reams of science and data supporting that, but that won't stop you from standing on the sidelines and yelling at the coach. Of course in-person instruction is better for students, but you can't have that if all your teachers get sick (and some die) from a global pandemic. Idiot.

Also known as "whistling past the graveyard." We'll take another look at those "net" numbers after November 3rd. For now, check these numbers out:

Apparently they didn't get the (insane) message yet to vote by mail and then show up on Election day for round 2.

Not sure God would appreciate you allowing a dark money group to slander your opponent. Something about bearing false witness? I don't know, you're the scripture lady. Find it yourself.

Sure, if that 3,052 dead were closer to 10,000, everything would just be hunky-dory. Just stop.

I think it's time for the United Nations and/or the World Court in the Hague to step in:

According to Wooten, ICDC consistently used a particular gynecologist – outside the facility – who almost always opted to remove all or part of the uterus of his female detainee patients.

“Everybody he sees has a hysterectomy—just about everybody,” Wooten said, adding that, “everybody’s uterus cannot be that bad.”

“We’ve questioned among ourselves like goodness he’s taking everybody’s stuff out…That’s his specialty, he’s the uterus collector. I know that’s ugly…is he collecting these things or something…Everybody he sees, he’s taking all their uteruses out or he’s taken their tubes out. What in the world.”

According to The Intercept, ICE declined to comment on the allegations in the complaint, while a Lasalle Corrections spox said it was “firmly committed to the health and welfare of those in our care.”

“We are deeply committed to delivering high-quality, culturally responsive services in safe and humane environments,” the person said.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the "pro-life" crowd to be outraged. These are immigrant women, the fewer of those babies the better.

Evil Steve wants to break something.

That's actually FEMA money, because Tillis and his GOP Senate cohorts couldn't put together a second relief bill. Lying sack of $#!+.

Thanks, Andy. We need to shut down this "we won't know" crap that is going around. p.s. I'll be criticizing you again tomorrow. ;)

If Trump tries to "fast-track" some bullshit miracle cure before the election, I'm not going to take it either. He's been cutting corners on this pandemic from day one, and I wouldn't trust him to put a band-aid on my arm.

You act like that's a good thing. It's not. It means they find you sufficiently bigoted to represent their extremist views, when you're supposed to be representing everybody, including your LGBTQ constituents. If they're right, you are not fit to serve.

Probably because he just assumed it was Republicans who did it, and he was trying to cover for them (like he does for Trump). He's not the sharpest tool in the shed...

On that historical note, here's your Onion:

This is also a true story, unfortunately.

With over 419,000 unemployed people in NC...

that $119,000,000 grant would provide each of them $300 for less then one week (419,000 x $300 = $125,700,000. So not only is Tillis approving the Trump raid on the FEMA emergency funds, he's touting a move that won't even provide that $300 for a week. He's playing on the innumeracy of his followers and depending on not being called out for the short-comings of the plan. But what else should we expect from our resident Trump bootlicker than an obvious con-job.
