Funny because, even on the municipal level, this is true. I mean, you go five minutes outside the city and those guys have the power to totally screw up your nice "citified" campaign for a seat on the local school board...

I'm all about candidates getting out to the [H]amlets ... e.g., the November 8th Democratic Dinner and Rally in Hamlet had a plethora of them. Those who attended and participated will be well-remembered in a county that is particularly important in Democratic primaries!
