Lifted from a comment by Robert P.
Unlike Under The Dome, Talking about Politics, or even Daily Kos - no one here is paid to be involved with politics, it is a labor of love. In fact, almost all of us here have many other commitments that are much more important than either blogging or politics. When something is not discussed or talked about it is probably because James is in a meeting, Betsy is running voters to the polls, and the rest of us "front pagers" are at work. There has never, in all my recollections, EVER, been even a single email between us about an issue and whether or not we should talk about it. This blog just doesn't work that way.
Folks, please write your own posts, we love it. Why? Because it means we don't have to do all the lifting. This is supposed to be a community and it will thrive best when everyone is providing input. A community becomes stale when it is the same four or five people writing all the posts and a lot of the comments.
So, to all of you who think we're ignoring or hiding from an issue, please write about the issue. You might be surprised to see us jump in with a comment in support of your post, and you might be surprised to learn that we were out of town or taking care of sick babies or making costumes for school plays or signing up new voters or recruiting election day Observers, Greeters, Runners, and Hospitality for our local precinct. You might be surprised to learn that we just don't have the free time to write about everything and we rely on you to contribute when we don't.
