Subject: Request for Information Dear Mr. Dew:
This letter and the information below is in response to your e-mail request of August 13, 2008, for information contained in Electricities' public records. The North Carolina law that governs the release of public records does not require that Electricities compile information for you; rather, the law requires that Electricities make public records available for your review if your request complies with the law. However, because the time involved in compiling the information you requested is minimal, I have set forth below the information that the law permits me to share.
You should also know that North Carolina law only permits me to provide you with current employees' current salary, and it prohibits me from providing you with salary information for former employees, as that information is part of the former employee's personnel file. Given those restrictions, the information you have requested is as follows:
Employee Current Salary
Estherine Davis • $135,100.00
