Lying Liddy Dole compares Kay Hagan to a dog

It's shocking when one woman refers to another as a dog, no matter how subtle the reference. It isn't surprising to see Elizabeth Dole lying to save her sorry hide, but it is shocking to see her comparing Kay Hagan to a dog.

In the ad the narrator claims, "That dog won't hunt." Unfortunately for Liddy, the ad firm used a breed of dog that is actually quite good at hunting. As a matter of fact their known for hunting foxes

The breed used in the ad (best I can tell) is a Jack Russell Terrier. I own a JRT and they are some of the smartest dogs around. They learn very quickly and are a favorite breed of many of the chicken farm owners in this area. The following story should give you an idea why farmers like this breed.

Although the Parson (the Rev. Jack Russell) never used his dogs for the purpose, the JRT is also a plucky ratter. In 1977, an Englishman and his team of four Jack Russells took three tons of rats out of chicken farms in just one day!

Three tons of rats! Wow.

Lucky for us, there's only one rat we want to get rid of that is bothering us here in North Carolina and feisty Kay Hagan is just the woman for the job.

a dog eh?

Maybe Dole wanted to really call Hagan that word for a female dog...what's that one again?

"that dog don't hunt"

Let be honest with ourselves folks...the truth is SENATOR Dole tried to keep these third party ads out of this campaign but Hagan wouldn't go for it. So if I understand this correctly our friend Hagan was for these third party ads befor she was against them.

But this does not come as a suprise she has a track record of this type of behavior. Just ask the NC labor union bosses who gave her more than $173,000 in campaign donation, making them her 2nd largest donors. She was for labor unions before she was against them.

Hagan also claims to be against big oil by day, while her husband works for big oil by night. I bet that makes for interesting dinner talk. Hagan is full of the same hot air that fuels all campaigns without real ideals or accomplishments to fall back on. What will Hagan do next? There is no telling, but I can tell you this I will bet she will have been for her next issue before she was against it...just ask the union bosses.

Elizabeth Dole, as head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, had no problem running third party ads. Don't give me her crocodile tears with matching carpet bag.

The oil smear doesn't stick.

The US consumes 20 million barrels per day, 15 imported, 5 domestic of which 2.2 million barrels come from the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), mostly the Gulf of Mexico.

Expanding access to the OCS would produce 0.2 million barrels per day at maximum production in 2030. It will not substantially affect prices either now or then when it may reduce prices by 3 or 4 cents per gallon. By comparison, Saudi Arabia has promised to increase production 0.5 million barrels per day by the end of this year and that has not affected prices.

The union smear doesn't stick either. In fact I smell a rat as that number you quote is higher than the last "union" number circulated only by the NRSC and does not have a public source. Please identify your relationship with the Dole campaign. You appear to be posting talking points direct from a campaign without regard to the facts.

Five days

You've been a BlueNC community member for five days. I can't tell whether you joined because you're from Kansas or from DC. But you certainly can't be from North Carolina ... because if you were, you'd know that Liddy Dole has done next to nothing to help our state.

How long have you been with the Dole campaign?

Jesus Swept, so you can come clean.

"Evil Labor Unions"

You might want to keep that argument for the Commie-fearing conservative venues, because that dog won't get any table scraps here.

Whether you believe in the need or effectiveness of labor unions or not, you'll have to agree with one thing: they require actively employed workers to survive. Against the recommendations of industry and labor alike, Dole not only voted for CAFTA, she was one of the major cheerleaders behind it and other reckless free trade agreements.

She has also resisted efforts to rescind tax breaks for corporations who lay off American workers and set up shop in another country, and she has worked to remove tariffs on the importation of several types of goods that directly impacted the ability of American producers to compete in their own (domestic) markets.

Politicians like Dole and McCain are the worst of hypocrites. They wave an American flag and mumble wet-eyed emotional gibberish about how much they love this great country, and then they turn around and push stupid policies that send Americans to the unemployment lines in droves.

"that dog don't hunt"

remember no dogs were hurt in the filming on that ad

Why Dole uses animals in her ads.

I see several reasons why Elizabeth Dole is using animals in all her ads/mailers.

  1. Her campaign is run by Mrs. Johnson's seventh grade civics class.
  2. Her dog told her what to do.
  3. She's an animal person, why else would she have 17 cats?
  4. Because she's afraid of having her picture.....
    Elizabeth Dole
run after pictures of Kay Hagan...
  5. Because she was afraid to come right out and call her a bitch.

I don't think that Senator McCain doesn't care what's going on in the lives of Americans, I just think he doesn't know.

Jesus Swept ticked me off. Too short. I loved the characters and then POOF it was over.

I got that mailer

there were two small pictures of Liddy on the back, neither of which looks anything like her.

I call that lying.

Jesus Swept, so you can come clean.

I assume you're similarly upset with BO calling SP a pig while hiding behind a commonly used expression.

I doubt he meant she's a pig, hell, I don't even think she's a pig. She's just a whacked out liar, which is why she fits so perfectly on the McSame ticket.

Jesus Swept, so you can come clean.

So now every reference to lipstick has to refer to her?

If I mention lipstick lesbians - am I talking about Sarah Palin? If my wife asks if I like her lipstick, do I launch into a list of things about Sarah Palin I dislike?

I don't think that Senator McCain doesn't care what's going on in the lives of Americans, I just think he doesn't know.

Jesus Swept ticked me off. Too short. I loved the characters and then POOF it was over.

Locomotive....I credited you with more intelligence than that

Barack Obama was discussing John McCain's economic policy, not Sarah Palin. If you bothered to get all the facts you would know that. Oh...right...facts....Republicans are allergic to them. My bad.

Vote Democratic! The ass you save may be your own.

I'm pissed that the McCain campaign is attacking Obama for something McCain said just a few weeks ago.
