McCrory sez he's not running for Governor

But he might bring his 3 E's (whatever the hell they are now) to the U.S. Senate in 2022:

Former Gov. Pat McCrory will not seek a return to the governor's mansion this cycle but will "seriously consider" running for the U.S. Senate in two years.

That's when current Sen. Richard Burr plans to retire, leaving an open seat. On his Charlotte-area radio show Thursday morning, McCrory said he considered running for governor but didn't want to contribute to society's division.

Translated: "I'm askeered of Dan Forest's rabid fanbase." Also, I thought you liked stepping on toes? Toe-stepping your way to a more Educated, Efficient...Energetic North Carolina? Yeah, you're right. I'm having way too much fun with this. And now I feel forced to defend Myers Park Pat after reading this from Mark Walker:

"North Carolina wants fresh candidates who have consistently won their elections," Walker said in his statement.

Had he run for governor, this would have been McCrory's fourth try in a row. He ran unsuccessfully against Bev Perdue in 2008, served as governor from 2012 to 2016, then lost three years ago to Cooper.

Dude, the only reason you won is because you were in a heavily gerrymandered district. At least McCrory has run a statewide race and won (one out of three times). You are too scared to run again in the 6th District, and apparently too scared to run against Tillis. Don't think for one minute 2022 will be a cakewalk just because Burr is retiring. You will actually have to answer questions in debates, instead of going off on a completely unrelated tangent about Free Enterprise, or other terms you don't understand.
