Mike McIntyre votes with Holding, Ellmers and Coble to increase arsenic pollution by dumping coal waste in streams

From the Dome:

The U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday passed a bill that would allow coal mining companies to return to an old practice of dumping mining waste into streams.

A person would have to be an intentional dumb ass to vote for this bill. Fortunately, the US Senate stands in the way of the bill becoming law.

Why does the US House

continue to act like petulant children, passing stupid bill after stupid bill, knowing full well that they're wasting our time and tax dollars because the Senate won't pass (often won't even consider) their stupid extremist bills?

Boehner and the tea party (including Ellmers and Holding) need to grow up and govern. We've had it with the gamesmanship, showmanship and...er...chickenship.

Because ...

... they don't have to govern. They just have to play to their Tea Bagger base and wallow in campaign cash from the Koch brothers.

What other reason is there for being in the House of Representatives?
