NCGA Melts Down

DAG McCrony Weighs In..

...pretending that he matters or that anyone except Lieutenant Dan and Kimmo pay any attention to him, DAG McCrony says he wants to get tax reform done pronto or just give up on it altogether.

"I don't want this to drag out much longer," [DAG McCrony] told The Associated Press Wednesday. "I either want to come to a consensus on a plan or move on to many of the other important items we all have to deal with."

In response, Senate leaders reminded DAG McCrony that what he wants doesn't really matter, and besides, he just gets in the way:

Senate leader Phil Berger, R-Rockingham, sent this response to McCrory's comment: “We are not ready to give up on our promise to the people of comprehensive tax reform. Now is not the time to cut and run.”

Apodaca said Thursday the governor's involvement so far has not helped to speed the process along.

Go back to playing catch, Pat.
