I just wet myself.

Seriously though, the only poll that counts is on November 7th. So enjoy the good news but keep working your *ss off to get out the vote!

What LiberalNC said.

We need to get good at hammering nails into coffins.

Wow....

Oh, please be true, please be true, please be true...Just wish NC-5 and NC-10 could see the same support. Roger Sharpe is such a genuinely nice and extremely bright man who you just know would go to Washington to do the right thing. I'm most certain he would cast more than just 8% pro-environment votes for 2006 which is how Foxx voted according to the League of Consevation Voters. Only McHenry and Myrick beat her on the race to the bottom in voting for the environment 0% of the time. Well, kudos to Kissell and Shuler...NC will turn blue, one district at a time.

Conscious evolution, it's what turns me on. There's got to be a difference between right and wrong.-DTB

Just as important

The 30 minute debate between Larry and Hayes has yet to air in full.

The crosstabs are fantastic.

Whoohoo!

Maybe people are fed up, ya think?

Counting down the days...let's hope they count all of the votes.

Larry-mentum?

Knocking on doors just got even easier!

The bigger the voter turnout, the less Hayes' hanky panky will matter.

That sounds like the

KISSell of death for Hayes! What great news!

But we gotta pretend we are still tied - we gotta work every day from now to Nov 7th. No lead is safe when your dirty rotten opponent has $50 million in the bank.

Larry and Brad

I just spent the evening with Larry and Brad. Life is good.

Have you heard any poll info for the 13th Love?

Well, I really can't say, but I think it is good.

Suspicious

This sounds like one of those "Let's get Democrats' hopes up so that they get slack towards the end" kinda polls, ya know?

Hate to sound pessimistic...I'm just not buying those margins. I'm totally confident both Kissell and Shuler can win...but it will be MUCH closer than this!

Let's not let this catch us off guard.

You're all a bunch of wet blankets!!!

I doubt anyone will stop working because of this poll, but maybe it will cause the DCCC to drop a few 100K into the race.

I'm in Hotlanta Coldlanta now, so I will be on and off until Tuesday.

Hey Momo (o/t)

You might want to check out Joe Boylan's endorsement by Americans for Tax Reform after reading this from The Progress Report:

ETHICS -- SENATE REPORT SHOWS RIGHT-WING NONPROFITS SOLD CLOUT TO ABRAMOFF: Five right-wing nonprofit groups, including one run by conservative activist Grover Norquist, "laundered money and wrote opinion pieces for disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff and sold their influence with U.S. government officials," Senate investigators found. The Senate Finance Committee's 600-page report released yesterday concludes the nonprofits "may have broken tax laws and put their tax-exempt status," but ranking Demoratic member Max Baucus (D-MT) said the "Justice Department and the IRS will have to determine whether tax laws were broken." The groups named in the report are Norquist's Americans for Tax Reform, the Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy, Citizens Against Government Waste, National Center for Public Policy Research, and Toward Tradition. Norquist's group reportedly accepted $1.5 million from one of Abramoff's clients. Previously unreleased e-mails cited in the report show that "Abramoff and Norquist explicitly discussed client donations to Norquist's group in exchange for Norquist's support." The report said the group's advocacy "appears indistinguishable from lobbying undertaken by for-profit, taxable firms."

Thank you sir! Comments in today's LTE section of the Pilot seem to be against Galloway and for Boylan, but just wonder how many would be for him knowing that his allegiance would be to Pope et al....

Amazing, isn't it, Mo?

Amazing that they're so thrilled to have Boylan running. It was clear to everyone in the room at the debate on Tuesday that Galloway was far and away the best candidate - the only one with clear, well thought out answers.

I had concerns about him at first, as you know, because he switched his registration from Dem. to Unaffiliated, but after talking to him, and hearing him speak several times, I have no doubt - this man is a winner, and definitely the one who should be representing us in Raleigh. No questions.
