The Patty Wagon Strikes Again

Way to go, Patty! You really know how to stand for something!

This guy (my lame excuse for a representative to Washington) has the conviction of Jell-O. Here's the latest:

At a private meeting of conservatives in the House of Representatives last month, Rep. Patrick T. McHenry (N.C.) ridiculed Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), asking why his fellow right-wing activists "shouldn't be physically ill at the prospects of a President McCain."

On Monday, McHenry -- apparently feeling fine -- joined the chorus of voices calling for conservatives to unify around McCain as the likely Republican nominee, and he accused former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee of waging a pointless nomination battle because he is "in there for himself."

Is this what the Republicans meant when they said "he was for it before he was against it"?

McHorny

is betting his life that a majority of people in his district are dumb as mud.

God help me but

they/we may well be.

A majority of the people in his district are Republicans

....dumb as mud seems to fit.

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

This is excellent

First time WaPo actually caught McHorny in his hypocrisy.

In the past, when he's been hypocritical (about earmarks or voting fraud or banking legislation), WaPo or CharO just prints a puff piece totally ignoring his transgressions.

It seems like his honeymoon as youngest Congressman (who flatters the female reporters while partying with the boys) is at an end.

Thanks jl!
