Brannon is full of crap

And Tillis think everything is "simple." He has led a "conservative revolution" in Raleigh, reforming everything. Claims he had bipartisan support.

Conservative, conservative, conservative, conservative ... full of shit. Divide and conquer.

Tillis sounds like a whiner.

All these guys are betting against Obamacare.

Brannon is positioning as through his only opponent is Tillis.

All are bragging about how conservative they are. Scary stuff on all fronts.

Tillis: arrogant asshole

Sorry folks

These people truly do turn my stomach in every imaginable way. I feel like I've landed on an alien planet. Any one of these criminals would be a disaster for the middle class in North Carolina. I can't stand it any more.

Sorry I got here late

had to finish something before the rains hit

Any one ...

... would be a disaster for the poor, the working poor, the middle class, small business owners and pretty much anyone in the state except lobbyists.

What is the one department you would eliminate

Thom Tillis - common core, department of education...but you wouldn't stop there
Mark Harris - Agree with Thom on Department of Education but adds Department of Energy and Department of Commerce....drops Huckabee name
Heather Grant - EPA - Should have state EPA not Federal EPA
Brannon - Madison...yadda yadda - Health and Human Services, ?, The Fed, the IRS...all gone...then a lecture from the founding fathers...I think he met them all

Actually...Grant sounds a little more sane

than the rest.

Harris....um...God given rights, not government given rights.....um...ok...

Brannon - someone endorsed his campaign....and individual liberty will explode...um...I can't follow him

Tillis....he got endorsements too

Coal...Coal Ash

Brannon...private property...federal government...free market...
Tillis....NC has some of the cheapest energy...public water and the quality of water...war on coal...seriously?
Harris....Federal Government overreach (big theme here) No word on state legislature overreach
Grant....State EPA...Duke is responsible for any mishaps...Coal isn't best source...need to look at fracking, opening up Anwar, Keystone

Brannon is certifiable

Either that or he's writing himself some pretty funky prescriptions.

As much as I hate to say it, Tillis is very well-spoken. If he wasn't such a sell-out, he might have been a good Legislator.

Tillis is delusional

........

A little bit too jumpy

Brannon was a little too jumpy. Wondered the same thing.

Too Much Coffee Man

I've seen rambling drug addicts that made more sense than Brannon. He came off like Glenn Beck on coke without a chalk board. His remarks were just a word salad of Tea Bagger and Libertarian "hot words".

Lightning round

Climate Change is not a fact
They all agreed on that
oh my goddess

The market segments

What's curious about watching this is how each candidate represents a particular "demographic" within the Republican party. Brannon's the whack-job Libertarian that wants to go back to the gold standard and get rid of the IRS, drowning government in a bathtub. Harris is the evangelical God-this, God-that guy. Tillis is the "mainstream" Republican touting the NRA and big business. Grant's coming off as sort of a Sarah Palin wannabe.

Brannon's counting on the libertarian professionals that use Bitcoin and the rural male voters that think the NRA is too wimpy. Tillis is going for the conservative business owners and industry types. Harris is counting on the church vote and values voters. Grant's going for the Republican, slightly religious soccer moms and dads.

Grant's "state EPA" comment

proves she doesn't understand jack shit about the relationship between the Federal and state governments. First, there is no "state EPA," there's the DENR. I guess it's possible she was referring to the regional offices of the EPA, but they still do not duplicate what DENR does. They have separate responsibilities that mesh with each other, not overlap.

Second, you can't get rid of the US EPA without getting rid of or rewriting hundreds (if not thousands) of Federal statutes. Statutes that were created by the people, by the way, through their representatives in Congress.

In the most recent Thom Tillis campaign ads

Tillis says he doesn't understand why legislature say one thing and do another.....he's Republican, that's what they all do, along with claiming they know what the average American thinks.

I am glad I missed this one.

I am glad I missed this one. There was a Democratic Primary forum for Harnett County tonight. There was actually a lot of rational discussion going on. Two of the three candidates for the 2nd Congressional District were in attendance as were most of the state house and senate candidates.

I'm a moderate Democrat.

Brannon is the man!

Brannon is the man to replace David Letterman. The guy is funny. Have you read the conspiracy theories on his website. However, I doubt I will take any investment advice from him. My guy is losing me enough money as it is.
