It's all about the narrative...
It’s a sad day when the Governor of North Carolina chooses to stand up for out-of-state trial lawyers over our family farmers, and this veto has left our rural communities wondering where the Roy Cooper who grew up in rural Nash County has gone. #ncpol #ncga pic.twitter.com/ReBfp0fYY9

Let me fix that for you: "It's a sad day when Republicans in the General Assembly decide to take away the legal rights of NC citizens to fight back against a China-based mega corporation that sprays shit all over their families." Much better.
After today's discussion on the weaknesses of the Opportunity Scholarship report, how many @JohnLockeNC associated folks will be deleting their earlier tweets and stories indicating that report had any implications for the larger program? #nced #ncpol https://t.co/7S1SvXaols

But no doubt they will spin this, or just act like it never happened. Because there's always another squirrel.

Right, McCain's a Democrat, because he dares to challenge the Great Pumpkin. That's a new low even for Peckerwood.
6 amendments on November 2018 ballot would be highest since 7 on the 1970 November ballot. #ncpol

Don't know who you are (and don't really care), but I'd say 17 months is more than a brief hiatus...

Yeah, he did. And he also proved he doesn't know a damn thing about what drove the VRA in the first place: Racial discrimination that weakens the voting power of people of color.
Scene at the #NC farm rally on Bicentennial Mall #Raleigh. Man on left had held up a sign defending migrant workers and neighbors of #CAFO hog farms. Man on the right was displeased. Cops told signholder he couldn't disrupt a permitted event @NCPolicyWatch #ncpol pic.twitter.com/w7ny1Zhtn7

We want extraordinary voter turnout. In fact, voter turnout rose from 34.66% of registered voters in the 2012 primary to 35.69% of registered voters in the 2016 primary which required a photo ID to cast a vote. #ncpol #ncga #VoterID

Who ran against Obama in the 2012 Primary? Nobody. Who ran against Mitt Romney? The entire 2nd string Clown Car. In other words, comparing the 2012 and 2016 Primaries is apple brandy vs orange crayons. Beyond stupid.

That headline needs a better intro: "After Legislature sends him a barrage of bad bills, Cooper goes on a yada yada."
The right to hunt and fish is an inherent right. Placing it in our state constitution serves to protect and bolster it from encroachment by the government or special interest groups. #ncpol #ncgahttps://t.co/pwdi0pNY29 pic.twitter.com/HjCyVyucqu
— Civitas Institute (@NCCivitas) June 26, 2018
No, it's not an "inherent" right, it's a privilege. A closely regulated one, at that. It's also a privilege that is *not* under any kind of threat, this ballot initiative was filed for one reason only, to encourage voter turnout for the GOP's base. And posting a heart-warming picture of Dad taking Junior hunting doesn't change the fact they are abusing the Constitution for political gain, it just makes you look culpable.
On that disgusting note, here's your Onion:
