Corporate Legislature cracks down on environmentalists

While some are free to poison us with impunity, those who try to stop it will now become felons:

The offense is committed on the premises of any of the following: an electric power supplier, a public water system, any facility used for transmission, distribution, measurement, testing, regulating, compression, control, or storage of natural gas. If the violation also includes any of the following elements, then the offense is a Class H felony: The offense is committed with the intent to disrupt the normal operation of any of the facilities, The offense involves an act that places either the offender or others on the premises at risk of serious bodily injury.

(I've condensed some of the wording to fit the above)

So, where are the faux Libertarians whining about "statists" and the erosion of Liberty? Exactly. They're too busy counting their money from the Koch brothers and other fossil fuel interests.

I'm still going on vacation

I just haven't decided when and where and how. I was going to add "and who", but I'm sure it will just be me and my little friend Toshiba. So you probably won't get much of a break from my hyperbole and self-righteousness.

I never promised you a rose garden...okay, it's entirely possible that, at some point in the past, I did promise you a rose garden. But I'm sure it was a metaphor.

Good idea

The risk of going postal is very high these days ... between the heat from global warming and the stench coming from Raleigh.

Ha!

"So, where are the faux Libertarians whining about 'statists' and the erosion of Liberty? Exactly. They're too busy counting their money from the Koch brothers and other fossil fuel interests."

Ummm, Libertarians are busy fighting against Amendment 1, Illegal Drone Wars conducted by our Nobel Peace Prize President, violent federal raids of state sanctioned marijuana dispensaries, illegal arrests and detainment of citizens who video police abuses and oh yeah the federal power to tax any all behavior (or non behavior) anytime, anywhere by our elected "superiors".

So no, Libertarians don't have the time or inclination to fight for you to gain the right to trespass and destroy private property and place people "at risk of serious bodily injury." Besides, we didn't want to empower our government to hand over property and rights to corporations in the first place, but the Republicans and Democrats scared and bribed liberals(like you) and conservatives to go along with it. Now we are owned jointly by government and corporations.

Truthfully, I am a little more angry at the guy who holds the gun to my head and robs me than the guy he gives my wallet to.

Just to be clear,

I'm not a supporter of property destruction, even power plant/coal mine property. But (by my read of) this law, even passive resistance like squatting in front of an entrance could result in a felony.

And by the way, when I used the word "faux" in front of the word Libertarian, I was talking about folks like the John Locke Foundation, not bonafide L's.
