I do like it, and
It would be even nicer if the beautiful graphic were, say, 20 to 30 percent smaller. Just a thought.

smaller now

That suits me better
and you could go even smaller without hurting my feelings.
PS I tend toward small in general, when it comes to design, especially for stuff that will be permanently in place. But I'll leave the fine-tuning to you. It's a great new addition . . . thank you for helping us out!
You're the best.
Jerimee...I didn't see it when it was larger
I love it. I like the muted colors because they don't leap out at you. I think it looks good with the rest of the site.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
Think some of the polls are now OBE (overcome by events)
and should be removed.
Like the poll who won the debate....which debate was it... if we had this for all the debates, then a history could be generated. Now that would make keeping them around. assuming people voted based on actual viewing and not biasing a poll to benefit their candidates and/or lessen another candidate.
Thats what I do not like about polls. they can be manipulated if folks really wanted to.
Like everyone "register republican" and "vote" in a weak candidate during the primaries to run against.
lots of web 2.0 stuff can be manipulated
While there are all sorts of stupid things people could do to screw up BlueNC, it doesn't happen as often as you might think.
If we ever wanted to, we could create polls that are only accessible by certain folks, like say someone registered for over a week, but I don't think there's much need for that. The vast majority of people behave themselves.
