----insert witty remark here----coming soon----

It's there.....

I'm putting them up as soon as it spits out the code. This has taken so long to cut the segments and load each one that I'm putting them up as quickly as I can so I can move on to the next one.

I saw Ed last night too!

This is going to be a great election year. I can feel it!

Ryan Ridpath - Senate 2020

At 12 years old, Ryan is such a good campaigner, I'm having to introduce myself as "Ryan's Father".

Ryan's older sister Veronica also impresses on the campaign trail, however she is focusing on a new life and college in Charlotte.

Jeanne and I have been blessed with remarkable children.

Thanks, Betsy!

You did a great job on all these videos. I didn't get to watch any of them until this morning - campaign tend to keep me away from the intertubes on the weekend. I have to admit, I was not sure speeches were a great idea, but you proved me wrong - I enjoyed listening to them at the "Bash" and I really enjoy them in re-runs.

Well....what I really wanted was for people to be able to see

the live feed on BlueNC. I thought it would be one more free way for candidates to get the word out. The live feed didn't work - bandwidth or some such issue. Plus, nothing like having a chance to hone your speech in front of friendlies, right? :D

My daughter says your son is really cool. I didn't get to talk to him, but he was standing around me and I could hear his reactions to speeches. He was engaged and on point. Hmmmmm....very bright young man. Gee, I wonder where he gets that from........ :D

And Helms begat Reagan...

Arguably, Ronald Reagan's Helms enabled win in the 1976 NC primary was all the encouragement he needed to try again in 1980, setting the stage for the Reagan Revolution and synergistic escapades like this one...

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
