Elizabeth Dole Begins the ElizaBush Tour of long neglected areas of NC

Keep your eyes out for Elizabeth Dole's tour bus coming to a town near you. The eye-catching bus done up in red, white and blue can be seen traveling throughout the state rushing to get Dole to all those areas she has neglected over the past 40 six years. We hear her favorite dude, Dubya might be traveling around the state with her.

I know she's supposed to come here.
I think I have to work that day.

She may be delayed....
...the zipper that holds her face together snapped under the extreme pressure...wounded two on her bus...blew out the windshield and toppled a nearby oak.

Tsk tsk, Stan
Now that's just plain old mean.

Moving Experience
It's going to be an eye opener for Dole. She might like the state and the people so much she'll want to move here.
As long as she promises not to run for office again, that would
be good. I can recommend a couple of good assisted living places for the Doles to retire to.

It's confirmed, she'll be in Southern Pines on Tues.
Sorry to say I'll be out of town that day.

Nice to see she is reaching beyond her base?
At least in Union she stopped at the Golden Corral. That's accessible by everyone. I don't know too many Dems who will venture to a local Repub. HQ.

Dorothy and Tin Man
Someone told me they saw Dorothy and Tin Man on the sidewalk waiting for Dole when she drove up.
You're joking.
I would have loved to have seen that!

will Liddy have a private meeting with the Klan in the northern part of the county?
No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

No Dole With McCain In NC
Marc Ambinder at The Atlantic makes this observation tonight:
Sign Of The Times: No Dole With McCain In North Carolina
Nobody was. ABANDON SHIP!
Outside of Richard Burr, no other state-wide candidates were present. Brezeale was outside during the afternoon, shaking hands, but left before the event began. He did, however, stay long enough for me to overhear him discussing how the racial make up of our districts hurts all republicans chances. Sorry about that, the whole BLACK PEOPLE LIVE IN OUR STATE issue, Mr. Brezeale.
Bottom line is, Cumberland County alone is home to THREE congressional districts, and not a single statewide candidate showed.
This is awfully telling, folks.
Granted, Rep. Hayes may not have been invited again...
