Who have been Tweeting madly about Bowles' praising of Paul Ryan during this lecture. If you go to the 39:00 mark (shortly after the aforementioned praise), Bowles talks about Ryan's "radical" plan to alter Medicare so health care cost increases are pushed onto the backs of patients.
Which the News and Observer should have already pointed out, but appears to be intent on being hand-fed their articles.

about Erskine's remarks. Erskine Bowles is one more smart man who has served this state and country well. It's hard to imagine how intelligent people can be so gullible as to believe everything they read.
