Fox Hearts Shuler

The right-wing has decided to adopt Heath Shuler because of his stances on social issues. They have to ignore his stances on the environment, the war, labor, education, and health care, but the right-wing's myopia ought never be misunderestimateded.

This is okay. The more the wingers gush over Heath, the longer NC-11 will remain on the Democratic side of the aisle.

Shuler may be the most progressive person we can get elected in that seat and if that's the case, I'm not unhappy with him. If the conservatives are going to take a hands off approach that's wonderful. Let them gush over him. One less seat we have to fight to protect in 2008.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
