Foxx the New No Candidate

Most of you know that I am taking a hiatus from politics, but I received an email that made we stick my head out for a second:

The House passed this bill to address rising tuition costs and remove obstacles that make it more difficult for students to attend college.

Virginia Foxx (NC-05) was one of the only 58 who voted no.

As a college student, this disgusts me, but it is to be expected I suppose.

Before I go back into sleep mode, allow me to say that I still strongly support Dan Besse, Roy Carter, and Steve Goss.

On The Big One, now that Edwards is out of the prez race, I have decided to go Obama. The decision was really close, but that's where I stand.

Take care BlueNCers. You all rule. I'll check back in as soon as my nervous breakdown passes, or I pass Statistics, whichever comes first.

Take care Crowbar

Ugh! Statistics! I loathed that course. Virginia Foxx will be waiting for you when you get back......just make it within the next several months.

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Foxx's Record is Enigma

Other than being against College Students, Working Families, Poor Children, Disaster Victims, Voters Rights, Working Immigrants, and People Working for Minimum Wage (too name a few). We all know that.

But, her Trade Policy Record is all over the place, she has no idea if she is for or against these Free Trade Ageements!

Thanks, LoftT. This is hilarious.

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
