Fund to Help Man Wrongfully Sentenced to Death
In 1994, Glen Edward Chapman was sentenced to death for the murders of Tenene Yvette Conley and Betty Jean Ramseur. Earlier this month he was released from prison - all charges dropped - but with nothing to show for the last 14 years besides the clothes on his back and a pocket full of spare change.
People of Faith Against the Death Penalty has set up a fund to help Mr. Chapman adjust to life in the free world. All donations are tax deductible.
Send checks and money orders to:
People of Faith Against the Death Penalty

Please be sure to note "For Edward Chapman" on your donation.
(While it is possible that Mr. Chapman might receive compensation from the State for his wrongful conviction, he would first have to receive a full pardon from the Governor. Such pardons are extremely rare, particularly in cases like Mr. Chapman’s that do not involve DNA.)

PFADP Is Collecting Funds for Bo Jones, Too
Seems when we just get started collecting funds for one exoneree who was put out on the street with just the clothes on his back (Edward Chapman) another man who also spent 15 years condemned to die is exonerated and released by the NC Department of Correction with nothing to survive on.
So People of Faith Against the Death Penalty is accepting donations for Bo Jones as well. Mark the memo of the check with either or both of the names of Edward Chapman or Bo Jones and we will send the funds to them. On behalf of them and their families we thank you.
