Gibsonville, N.C., parking lot owner will not let Obama supporters park in his lot

"Parking lot owner Tim Henderson, who is supporting Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., for president, said the two signs posted in his lot ban parking by supporters of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., WFMY-TV, Greensboro, N.C., reported Thursday.

"I don't know how many ways you can interpret it. If you're an Obama supporter, you've got an Obama sticker on your car, you're not welcome to park here," Henderson said."

Hey, all of us with Obama stickers, let's drive to this clown's lot & try to park there.

isn't violating the First Amendment by refusing to let people who support Obama park in his lot, but he's awfully lucky that there are no laws prohibiting complete idiots from owning property.

I suppose he knows his community well enough to realize he won't lose much by making such an asinine statement.

First Amendment rights could extend to parking lots, but the only entity that can violate your First Amendment Rights is the government, not a private individual.

And although this guy talks a lot about Socialism and Communism in his blog defending his actions, I think he pretty much reveals petty anger as the motive buried within his rants:

Well, poor Tim Henderson is clearly not a bright bunny. That lame rationale for his actions wouldn't convince a ten year old. Of course, if Henderson were to try to explain that rationale to a ten year old, he'd run the strong risk of being told by the kid to "grow up."
