GOP willing to tolerate crime
Republicans claim to be tough on crime, but their true priorities are made clear by Bush's recent decision to free Scooter Libby.
President Bush’s commuting the sentence of Scooter Libby is another instance where the law is selectively applied.
Libby, chief of staff for Vice President Dick Cheney, was convicted by a jury of lying about a national security matter. He now avoids facing the consequences that ordinary Americans would endure.
“It is appalling that, days before our country celebrates the anniversary of our independence, President Bush would be so careless about the ideals that our founders fought and died for,” said NCDP Chair Jerry Meek. “Patriotism is about more than flag-waving. It’s about living up to the country’s promise of equal justice under the law.”

I've already ranted on BlueNC enough for one day on this subject. Steam is still coming out of my ears.
It's past time to calm down. It's even past time for getting mad.
It's time to get even. Spread the link.

Going to go put it up at my place.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
Tolerate?
Perpetrate, propagate, initiate, conceal, encourage, institute, promote, advocate ... any of those words would do.
I'm sorry, Jerimee - tolerate just doesn't begin to cover the lawlessness behind this regime.
The really crazy thing is that ...
W. has no problem with throwing people who haven't been charged with a crime, much less convicted, into the rathole that is Gitmo. And remember Joseph Padilla, an American, spent 3+ years in jail waiting for his day in court.
I wish W. could live an alternate life. One in which he is not the spoiled brat, rich boy and has to actually work for his daily bread ( or booze). Let him experience 20 years in a trailer park in Waco.

We just didn't understand
what he meant by "taken care of."
