Greatest. Holiday. Episode. Ever.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from DrFrankLives. We may all disagree with each other from time to time, but all of us here at BlueNC share a common goal of making next year more Thanksgiving worthy than this.
The good Lord has blessed us with an unbelievable bounty here in North Carolina. And as angry as we may get at ourselves and our fellow man for wasting that bounty, we should never forget just how blessed we are.
One of things we are blessed with is YouTube, which reminds us how blessed we WERE to have WKRP in Cincinnati. To remind you of that bounty, I post below the GREATEST HOLIDAY EPISODE IN TV HISTORY.
Happy Thanksgiving.

I look forward to seeing these every year.
I remember watching it at the time as a kid, WKRP was my favorite show on TV.
One of the pitfalls of childhood is that one doesn't have to understand something to feel it. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon
oh my gawd
Best episode ever of WKRP
"jump in where you can and hang on"
Briscoe Darling to Sheriff Andy
laughed till i wet myself
they always had cutting edge humor.
On Thanksgiving day, our tradition (besides gorging on all that fine food) is listening to the full version of Alice's Restaurant.....you can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant (exceptin' Alice),
When my kids were young, we always made costumes and dressed up as either Pigrims or Indians...silly yes, but we enjoyed it.
No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

Thanks, Dr. Frank
That was fun!
Thank you, thank you, Dr. Frank ...
... re-living that episode brought tears of laughter to my eyes. My daughter is still wondering why I was laughing at the computer screen!
WKPR was not a happy Thanksgiving for Burt

I know of only one person who does not think that series was funny who is still living. His name is Burt Reynolds who married Lonnie Anderson from the series which cost him his house, his assets, his career, who now lives in a homeless shelter in South Florida watching ole reruns of WKPR as a 75 year old man.
ps.....to make it worst his lawyer married Lonnie after the Divore....
I still lament that they canceled that show
I watched that show from the beginning because when it came out, I was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan so naturally I watched it. I remember that it used to come on on Mondays after MASH, I believe. I think it was White Shadow at 8 p.m. (another great show that got cancelled too soon), followed by MASH, WKRP and then Lou Grant. That was an awesome Monday night lineup. I played basketball throughout high school and eventually worked in radio and for several newspapers. That night made a tremendous impact on me!

Thank you :)
We appreciate you too. This place is awesome. I would be lost without it.

At the risk of sounding..

Thank you all for being thought provoking, generous, humorous, and kind, all wrapped up into one big ball in various shades of Blue.
