Bragg expects another big cut
By Henry Cuningham
Military editorAfter scrimping and saving in 2006, the people who operate Fort Bragg are looking for ways to get by on about 14 percent less money in fiscal year 2007.
Fort Bragg's operating budget has been cut $14 million this year and another $57 millon next year. These cuts are being made as the population of Fort Bragg is going to increase due to the new Brac assignments. Employee's are being laid off, hiring frozen, contracts cut.
I personally guess these cuts will not affect Haliburton. George Bush, Donald Rumsfield and Robin (flip flop) Hayes are taking away the support services our fighting men and their families need.
It is time for a change. Larry Kissell is the man to go to Washington with the best interest of the men and the families of our Army. Please vote out Robin Hayes and vote for Larry Kissell

Surveyor....
Great find. If the military voters only knew how little support the Republicans give them they would run...not walk...away from the Republican party.

Great googly-fricking-moogly
This is unbelievable. In every debate, everywhere in the country, this is another bobble-head line.
"If you support the troops, why are places like Fort Bragg suffering budget cuts, places like Fort Sam Houston having their electricity turned off?"
Cuts affect the families the most
A lot of these cuts will be in family support for those deployed for the second and third time. These family members are under great stress and need addition attention not less.
the whole article
is on the front page of the Fayetteville Observer however I don't know how to post a link.

I posted the link in your original entry so you can see how to do it. Just click 'edit' and go look at the details. When you want to try it yourself, you can go to any website and copy the http:// stuff from the top of your browser and then paste it in between the quotation marks.
The only other thing you might want to do is fill in some text between the > and the < at the end.
Good luck!
thanks
My tek support (myson) was out of place. thanks again
My son-in-law

She's really angry.
He hasn't been home a month after being gone for nine months. At least she isn't taking it out on him. She knows it is out of his control.
