Congressman Heath Shuler, addressing the delegates at the 11th District Democratic Party Convention, 5/19/07.
This recording was made at the beginning of the convention, which was held at Pisgah High School in Canton. It was generally well-received by the audience of delegates and officials.

Seeing "Congressman Heath Shuler" put a smile on my face. I don't always agree with him but I do hope he'll keep an open mind and work with Dems harder than he works with Reps.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
