Interested Persons
Once upon a time . . . a blogger got people mad at him. Those people figured out what most people already knew - the identity of the blogger. Then they printed out some threads that the blogger posted on during the workday, and circulated a note to "whom it may concern," asking whether it was legal for the blogger to do that. They prominently mentioned the blogger's name and his employer's name, and implied some violation of ethics and the law. Neither, of course, was true. The brave people signed the note "Interested Persons."
The blogger found out about the note, because he had good and trusted friends, even though the brave people did not bother to send him a copy. He informed his employer about it, and together they had a good laugh about the cowardice and ridiculousness of anonymously charging a person with perfectly legal and ethical behavior.
Next thing the blogger knows, he may be attacked for eating lunch during the workday, or walking down the hall and having a cup of coffee while discussing politics.
Well, the blogger is still around. And he's kind of busy right now, but when he has the time and the energy, he'll probably be back.
Oh, and he'll never shut up. Just ask his wife.

You have obviously made an impact. I don't always agree with you - but I've got to tell you. There's one thing I can't stand. Cowards who won't sign their names.

Just, wow. Keep up whatever you're doing that is ticking people off.

I figure we're not making a difference unless we're dragging anonymous cowards out of their holes to complain. Sorry you had to go through the stress of dealing with this sort of creepiness, but you're right to consider it a badge of courage.
This is the big difference between us and them. They like to operate in the dark with secrets and deception. We are transparent and clear about who we are and what we're doing. It's no wonder they're losing ground.
This medium works well for whackoes
Over at the Dome, poor Ryan is still having to deal with the nutjob who creates all those clips to illustrate his rants against Jack Nichols. Trianglopic has taken to answering his own posts because everyone else has figured out to ignore him.
Anyway, like Linda, I don't always agree with your posts, but I can't think of a time I haven't enjoyed them. Well, maybe it will come to me eventually . . .
