Yes, Fredly has controlling interest in CC Magnum and since he gained that he has also gained most of the contracts on the roads in Johnston County, North Carolina. Where we used to see S.W. Wooten we now see CCM. What a shocker! He believes he is helping the environment by building more roads...what a loser! I keep saying over and over again, he does not have a clue what his current job description is (for anything he does to include NC Senate) and he certainly does not know what the real issues are. I actually believe he is running for Governor so that Ginny can live in a bigger house. Power and greed, never cease to amaze me. Asphalt ass is what he really is.

i do a significant amount of Wiki work - and you're right. We don't "need" to put things like the Asphalt King into entries. But after years of corporate warfare, I've learned that Wiki Wars are every bit as critical as any other.

When a person tries to rewrite history or fluff themselves into "darling" status with a self-congratulatory entry, there are two responses to consider. One is to correct the record simply. In my experience, that leads to a long and slippery slide to their side of the fence. Just as the R's have moved the center to the right, that is what happens with Wikis. You end up fighting little battles to fend off their assaults on reason, and eventually you give up and they win.

The second response is to bring in heavy artillery and push back hard. After wasting literally hundreds of hours trying the first path over the past few years, I now lean toward the second. Especially when dealing with people who believe the truth is elastic. The original entry led with Smith's sad life "growing up in an orphanage" - and he needs to be smacked down every time he says that. It also quoted Smith saying "I'm not a politician."
