Jim Neal on the State of Things

Okay, hope I haven't crossed any lines here. WUNC has a link to download their shows, so I am hoping this is kosher. I think Jim did well in a fairly hostile interview. I have heard that Kay Hagan will be on the show today, so I hope Frank goes after her just as hard. Fair is fair.

Oh boy.

You and Sam have to chill with the synchronized posting now. Shit's too adorable, kids.

You should have been there on Sunday.

Adorable doesn't begin to describe it.

Neal on TSOT

I think the download is OK. WUNC encourages downloads from what I've seen

I hear most of the interview with Jim Neal and thought it was pretty fair and open. I am a Neal supporter and contributor.

I missed the Hagen interview today but if TSOT gave her the same treatment, Neal should come out ahead.

I am new to BlueNC but my politival views are well known in Harnett County. Check out my columns at mydailyrecord.com under opinions and eric benson

Welcome, drlefty

I noticed you over on the Colonel's thread, but wanted to use this space to welcome you to BlueNC. Very nice to virtually meet you.

The Pickens Plan

2 billion dollars for Wind Power...so that we can burn domestic natural gas in our cars...I think.

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
