It's really strange seeing myself in this role.
But I very much believe that we need, we must, push ourselves past the boundaries we have become comfortable staying behind.
Early 90's solo hiking trips to CO rockies and Tetons.
'94(?) solo trip to France.
'96 pitched a banking career. Moved to Japan to teach.
'97 hiked AT
'98 worked in an outdoor treatment program for troubled young people.
'99 Moved to Person Co., to teach Math.
'00 3 week trip around the world - ENG>SA>MAL>JPN
'03 Became chair, Person Co. Dems
'04 Finished masters, shifted to special ed teacher
'08 candidate for co. commissioner
As you can see, I was due.
For better or for worse, I am very much looking forward to Tuesday night. :)

As long as I am in fantasy land, Dancing with the Stars could be fun. I did go to high school in the late 70's. :)

I love to dance, but, um, I'm afraid that I would make the laugh reel and not the "cool" one.
And I must say - I can't get anyone here to dance with me. You get hooked up with musicians, and it's a problem. People in the band don't dance. ::sigh::.
