More Republican Sexual Hypocrisy...
"State Rep. Debbie Clary has accused fellow Republican Rep. Joe Boylan of lying when he said "nothing happened" between him and a female state representative.
Clary, saying she was "breaking silence" among fellow Republicans, also said that the House GOP caucus had told Boylan, a Pinehurst businessman, to apologize to the woman for his behavior and that he had done so.
Interviewed for a story that appeared Wednesday in The Pilot, Boylan dismissed as "untrue" and "baseless" an allegation that he had made an improper, drunken advance on state Rep. Tricia Cotham, a Mecklenburg County Democrat, at a Raleigh steakhouse.
He went on to say that Cotham, whom he declined to identify by name, had "denied that anything happened." But he retracted that statement Thursday.">
I'm a little thumb-fisted on inserting links, but here's the cite: http://www.thepilot.com/stories/20070721/news/local/20070721BOYLAN.html
Then tonight, over on The Political Junkies, Stephen Gheen reconstructs the whole event/apology/denial/coverup in Woodward and Bernstein-style detail. See: http://thepoliticaljunkies.net/Tarheel.htm
Maybe this isn't as satisfying a come-uppance as the sanctimonious uber-hypocrite Coy Privette engineered for himself, but isn't this just more evidence of what that Louisiana Republican said about Vitter: “We’re the party of hypocrites. Vote for us and we’ll lie to you, we’ll engage prostitutes and we’ll cheat on our wives.” ?

It's been on the minds of a lot of us in Moore County.
Word on the street is - we believe Rep. Clary. She's got no reason to make this up. The whole Richard Morgan as political bogeyman is ridiculous.
We've been talking about Uncle Creepy Boylan for a while. Glad to see other sources picking it up.

I can't quite put it together for best effect
but it seems like there has got to be a load of irony here if you look at some of the circle of alleged players here: Boylan, Morgan, Black, Cotham. There's something there. Boylan replaces Morgan. Cotham Replaces Black. Morgan teams up with Black. Boylan attempts to "team up" with Cotham...
it makes a good novel, anyhow.
I would really like to hear from Cotham on this.

Where's the pressure from Stam
For Uncle Creepy to resign?
Almond exposes himself and gets fired. Boylan sexually harasses a woman then lies about it . . . no problem?
Boylan needs to resign, pure and simple.
Where's the pressure from Moore County Republicans?
Aren't they embarrassed to be represented by him?
