Morning Post
Gosh golly that was quite a night in politics. Hmmm. What's next?
The answer would be us in the NC (well, there's Guam) and my home state of Indiana.
Yup, NC is in play. I know this because in my capacity as small town newspaper editor I got several phone calls from presidential campaigns yesterday. That and reports of hobbits in Person County.
So, the jets are fueled and Indigestion 2008 is headed to the Tar Heel state.
• Bill Clinton is in Hillsboro (the bus tour stopped there in 1992) and Elon, Asheboro, Thomasville, and Statesville
• Hillary Clinton arrives Thursday in Jacksonville, Fayetteville, and Asheville with Gen. Hugh Shelton, Ret. in tow.
• Barack Obama is learning the chords to Keep the Car Running.
And every blog in the country has an opinion on the Pennsylvania results. Here's my take: Uh, that one's over. On to the next thing. If you must, just read Attytood. He's a nice fellow.

Really?
Anyone slightly amused by the fact that media outlets seem to be touting the reach of the NC Republican Party? Really?

There are people in every time and every land who want to stop history in its tracks. They fear the future, mistrust the present, and invoke the security of the comfortable past which, in fact, never existed. - Robert F. Kennedy

Suggestions for Candidates Seeking Blue Collar Voters
It is great that North Carolina matters in a primary election. To any candidate seeking to understand what is on the minds of some real working class blue collar North Carolinian voters, I suggest that they go visit a mobile home park. I've even got a list of questions that any one can feel free to crib.

Excellent.
Thanks for posting this ... and for doing your homework, too. If you're willing to write on this topic frequently, I'll make sure it gets on the BlueNC agenda.
Welcome.
