NC-4: Done deal

I was going to write a longish entry about the uphill battle Steve Acuff is waging against my friend and neighbor David Price here in the 4th District. I was going to examine Acuff's so-called "grassroots" campaign and try to give the guy at least a little credit for something. But then I read this in the paper today.

Acuff describes himself as a "George Bush Republican."

What a moron. 'Nuff said.

Laughing my butt off

I know you spent HOURS assessing this race. You put in so much time giving this a thorough analysis. Your hard work is much appreciated. ;)

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

I can't get a David Price sign to save my ass.

I've emailed, left messages. My precinct turns out at 98%, a few signs couldn't be a bad thing.

"A George Bush Republican"

Isn't that like saying "I'm a Pol Pot Communist?"

The mind boggles...

ouch

During an interview earlier this month that lasted longer than an hour, no telephone was heard to ring.

He is pinning his hopes on low voter turnout and unprecedented support from socially conservative blacks.

"That's one of the reasons I'm in Durham, to work on the conservative black vote," Acuff said. "If you believe it is a choice, not a baby, then vote for David Price. If you think two men can get married, then vote for Price."

ladies and gents we have a true coolaid drinker.
