October 19, 2006 – 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Progress NC 2006 will examine how state-level budget decisions, environmental regulation, minority-participation barriers, and campaign-financing rules can undermine the progressive agenda, and how we can overcome these challenges together.

Speakers will include Dr. Robert M. Franklin of Emory University, Patrick Bresette of Demos's Public Works, Bob Hall of Democracy NC, Marisol Jimenez McGee of El Pueblo, Hope Taylor-Guevara of Clean Water for NC, and Elaine Mejia of the NC Budget & Tax Center.
