NCGOP sends sunscreen to Jerry Meek

NCGOP chair Linda Daves sent Jerry (NCDP chair) some sunscreen and this nice note.

They're doing some publicity stunts for sunshine week. More info to come.

Art Pope didn't send us nothing . . .

Since the NCGOP was nice enough to send us the aloe, etc. I propose we do a little trivia for Lina Daves. I'll start: What US presidential administration has had the most lax FOIA compliance and excessive delays?

Ok your turn.

He should send it back and tell her

now that the Republican party will be forced into the Sunshine, perhaps you need this more than I....oh and apply liberally!

No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

Hilarious Mo!

Apply liberally! Hahahaha

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

How do you report that?

Is that a donation from another political party committee? Fill out a CRO 1220 and put it on your 1st quarter report!

Thank you Linda Daves

What with the holes in the ozone layer and global warming we're going to need every drop of that sunscreen.

Apparently the press conference was really boring

I bet the NCGOP didn't even come up with the sunscreen idea themselves. The funny idea was so robotically executed that I imagine someone at Civitas or John Locke actually came up with the original idea.

Max Borders you wanna take credit for this?

And Helms begat Reagan...

Arguably, Ronald Reagan's Helms enabled win in the 1976 NC primary was all the encouragement he needed to try again in 1980, setting the stage for the Reagan Revolution and synergistic escapades like this one...

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
