Negative Campaigning
The campaign commercials of Bev Perdue and Richard Moore frighten and confuse me. I think, how do the candidates get inside my TV? I don’t know, it's just the way I think. But there is one thing I DO know. Negative personal attacks give the impression that the party is disorganized, and benefits the competition.

Oh, Caveman, caveman . . .
This is so cheeeeeezy, even for YOU!
And it figures, Caveman, what with your being a caveman, that you don't know (though your very good polling buddy whom-we-both-know-and-won't-name could certainly tell you) that negative ads work for, rather than against the people who run 'em. Sad, but true.
Don't be frightened, Caveman, and don't bring that club with you to the voting booth.
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing
-Edmund Burke
The Common Man
Characteristically well spoken, Madame Brunette. It is true that I am just a simple caveman. But will you allow me, the possibility at least, that your modern point of view may be limited by the range of experiences that divide your modern world from what has gone before and from what may still prevail outside its range? This I DO know. While it is true I am more at home hunting in the primeval bog than posting on this blog, I come before you only as a representative, lower case "r," of the common man. Thank you.
