An informative Meet Roy page that provides insight into Roy Carter as a person of character and a candidate who truly cares about the 5th district.

A helpful Current News section of the homepage that allows voters quick and easy access to Roy Carter’s press statements and press releases.
The site also features "Get e-mail updates", "Join the Grassroots Team," "Register to Vote Today," and "Women for Carter" pages that encourage voters to take an active role in the Carter campaign and in their communities.

In this campaign, Roy Carter has pledged to be accessible to the people of the 5th district and to be a passionate advocate for the issues that impact working families.

The Carter campaign’s new and improved website will provide yet another avenue for voters to become informed about Roy Carter’s stance on the issues, inspired by Carter’s commitment to people above politics, and motivated to take part in this critical election.

And Helms begat Reagan...

Arguably, Ronald Reagan's Helms enabled win in the 1976 NC primary was all the encouragement he needed to try again in 1980, setting the stage for the Reagan Revolution and synergistic escapades like this one...

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
