Share your last minute worries and frustrations here.

I told you not to post that picture of me!

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Actually,

I took that in the mirror this morning.

Man, that Dan Besse would sure be good for NC...

:]

LT. GOV??

My niece solved that problem. She said she just voted for the cutest one---Hampton.

Sounds too young to vote

Got a case there of young and immature voting for young and immature.

ouch.

young and immature? Hampton? I'll just take that to be one of your nonsensical comments. Ya know, he's 6 years younger than our next president...

Anywho, no need in starting a fight with ya tonight. Haven't yet and i'm praying i never will.

Welp, we'll know something tomorrow night this time. Will be lots to talk about then.

goodnight

So I'm a little grumpy

I think he's kinder callow, but I'm not so terribly displeased that I can't see the possibility of his doing a good job. (See how reasonable I am?) It's entirely possible that he'll be all Dr. Frank seems to think he is.

Well....I don't think he's Superman.

But as I've said before it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he were elected. He's a decent man, and would probably do a decent job. I think he's very idealistic, and could make a good shot at it.

I had to vote for Besse, though, because he's just exactly the person I want in the job.

thank you for coming half way.

About Hamp, no one's perfect, but he's got a lot of what we need in that office. Plus, could you imagine how terrible it would be to have to campaign for Perdue and Dalton in the General? Do you know how hard it would be the really fire up the base? Hampton would ad some grassroots excitement to the ticket, thus strengthening Democrats as a whole. (you and some other people on BlueNC may be turned off by Hampton's confident style, but 98% of the people i've met who have met Hampton are really really excited about him running and about the things he will be able to accomplish. You'll see a lot of that excitement tomorrow in the forms of hundreds of poll workers. Alright, going to bed. Up at 5:30!

I've met him!

I like him very much - he's a great guy. I think it's a weird office to try to accomplish things, and I think he might be overly ambitious and unrealistic, but hey - reach for it.

And yes - Perdue and Dalton scares me. A lot.

Good night - good luck tomorrow.

Obama Supporters from India Send their Encouragment

One of my mother's friends is an American living in India. She sent some pictures with this message:

I'm not in this picture, because Mary and I arrived late to the scene. However, this is my group of Dems Abroad Friends (a few of them) and we are pulling for Obama. I hope NC can bring him some strong support!

Plus he just called me with his robo dialer.

Yep. I got his robo dialer, too.

And I liked that last line, too. Made me think, "Hell, yayah!! :-D

Great ad.

It's the new one? Hadn't seen it before. I think somebody we know is in it. :) Hint: Not a blogger, but every active Dem should know his name.

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
