Your session times out
The software unfortunately doesn't incentivize lengthy, thoughful posts.
(Or short, thoughtless ones either, if you type "HA", go away for thirty minutes, come back, and then click "Post comment".)
Since when I'm not just shooting my mouth off, my posts tend to the lengthy, replete with footnotes and URLs I have to go look up, I often fall victim to the timeout.
I recommend composing stuff in an external editor and cut-and-pasting it in to a freshly-created comment. That way you're not "idled out".

Thanks Brandon
It's frustrating to try and compose something exactly the way you want to, edit it, reread, correct errors (at least some of them) and then lose everything. I guess I just think slow. :.)
The last thing I do before I hit 'post comment'
is to 'select all' (left click, hold & highlight) and then right click 'copy'. That way if you lose it, you just 'paste' it back into a second comment.
Person County Democrats
HA!! Yep. That's what I do.
It's the ONLY way you'll never lose a comment or post. Select all, copy. BloggyWords to live by. ;)

Carter Wrenn is reporting
Carter Wrenn is reporting over at TAP that the National Party is about to put $7.5 million into the Hagan campaign in the form of TV ads! If correct this could be what it takes to catch Dole and pass her. He says it should amount to about 15 ads and total saturation. He says 14 of the 15 will be negative but hopefully she'll have 3 or 4 to introduce her to the public and the rest just knocking the heck out of the senator from Kansas or is it the first senator from the District of Columbia? My ads would all include at least one picture of Libby and W together. I even wish they would hire Wrenn to make the ads if you would be willing to cross the party line cause he was a master manipulator with the congressional club. Wouldn't that be something?
New from Under the Dome
Quoting Dome, speaking of Pat McCrory's energy plan: "McCrory took the occasion to unveil his energy initiative, a combination of conservation measures, new oil drilling and a push for alternative energy sources including coal and nuclear."
Since when did coal and nuclear qualify as "alternative" energy sources?
Only an ex-power company executive (and very recently ex-, at that) could portray more of the same as a bold new approach.
This "plan" should be greeted with the derision it deserves. It's merely another way of saying, "What's good for Duke's executives and major stockholders is good for North Carolina."
